The corrosion- and abrasion-resistant slurry pump is a cantilever, single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump. It features a semi-open impeller without a front shroud, providing a wider flow passage that allows solid particles and impurities to pass quickly through the pump chamber with minimal risk of clogging.
The pump casing is constructed from steel-lined ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), a corrosion- and abrasion-resistant engineering plastic that provides excellent resistance to both chemical attack and abrasive wear.
The pump is widely used for handling acids, alkalis, salt solutions, strong oxidizing agents, organic solvents, and other corrosive or abrasive liquids at temperatures below 100°C. It is suitable for media containing up to 40% solids by weight, including both hard and soft particles, across a wide range of concentrations.
Key Features
Corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant lining: The steel body is lined with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene to prevent corrosion and wear.
Semi-open impeller: A semi-open impeller can improve water flow and reduce the risk of clogging.
For liquids containing solid particles: Suitable for conveying highly corrosive liquids containing a small amount of solid particles.
Wide operating range: It can be used in a temperature range of -20°C to 95°C, with a maximum particle size of 40 mesh and a maximum concentration of 50%.
Fluoroplastic lining optional: Fluoroplastic lining is available for applications requiring special corrosion resistance and temperature resistance.
